Korean Chinese is not the same as the run of the mill Chinese take-out. Don't expect Chinese take-out prices (you get what you pay for), tastes, or dishes. Do not order typical Chinese food items like chicken and broccoli or fried rice... You are just wasting time here.

I've been coming here for over 25+ years. These days all the way from Queens. They have some, if not the best, Korean Chinese food out there. All my friends that I've brought here love this place as well. The food is high quality and the service has always been excellent.

If you desire dishes that really sets Korean Chinese apart from Chinese takeout, try:

-Sweet and sour GARLIC chicken or shrimp (w/ the small shrimp, not big. It is NOT red like the American Chinese take-out joints).
-Khan Jajangmyun (this version is wok stir fried, so it's smokier and has better flavor. Do not get the plain Jajangmyun, it's cheaper but made in a pot).
    -Fried dumplings (not boiled).
-Sweet and sour PORK (not w/ garlic).
-Gochu Japche (diced peppers, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, etc. Wok stir fried and served with soft white buns on the side).

Also FYI... Some of you complained about the lack of banchan (free side dishes). Traditional Korean food has a ton of banchan, Korean CHINESE is ONLY supposed to have onions and daikon(pour some vinegar over it, and eat it with the brown sauce), and kimchi... That's it. It's been like that for over 50+ years, that's how it's supposed to be served traditionally. It's like that in ALL Korean Chinese joints.

This restaurant is listed as Korean/Chinese. In my opinion, the food offered isn't quite authentic Chinese nor does this restaurant offer all the typical korean dishes. I was quite disappointed with the ban chan offered - just daikon, onions, pickled daikon and some sauce.

Every single table ordered Ja jang myun. I guess that's a must try but I opted out of that tonight. Looking at the menu it seems most of the food that they offer is fried food. Let me tell you, it's not crispy at all. We had fried beef and it was very soggy. My tip for you would be to request for the sauce to be put on the side. Fried beef should've came with rice but it didn't so that will cost you extra. Additionally for the portion sizes, you don't get your bang for your buck. They make quite a profit on their vegetable dishes.

Overall the food wasn't spectacular and is average in my book. If you decide to come here, go with the ja jang myun that seemed to be a big hit.

This is good Korean and Chinese restuarant. Jjajang myun and spicy jjambbong is good. Most greatest is tansuyook(fried pork with sweet homemade saurce). Texture is really great great.

Their service is also good. I will def be back here.

Let me just say that the service and staff here is 5 stars! Great space, pretty empty. I would not say it is the experience but the food.....

Premium prices around $15 with tip for a bowl of some of the worse ja Jang myun I've ever had....I'm from nova and you get a better bowl for $6. I understand this is jersey and things are a bit more expensive but no meat...watery sauce.....no flavor for $15 is blasphemy.....

Came here based on the reviews and maybe it was an off night? This can't be the best ja Jang in jersey..
